Jurgen A. Doornik is a Research Fellow at the Economics Department of the University of Oxford at Nuffield College, and a director of OxMetrics Technologies Ltd. His main interest is in computational econometrics and statistics, with current research focusing on automatic model selection. Jurgen Doornik is the core developer of the OxMetrics system of scientific software, which includes PcGive, for interactive econometric modelling, and Ox, which is a matrix programming language aimed primarily at statistical and econometric applications.
Jurgen Doornik and his associates have also compiled a range of guidebooks and manuals for OxMetrics software.
Jurgen Doornik has been involved with many Timberlake training courses over the past few years. His recent involvement includes co-leading our annual Econometrics Summer School at the University of Oxford. He and the OxMetrics delevopers have also released a series of webcasts introducing many of the new features and tools and tips for using OxMetrics 7 modules.
